Best Mortgage Montreal (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website and in the course of providing mortgage brokerage services, in accordance with Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Information we collect
When you contact us, use a form or apply for a mortgage, we may collect your name, contact details, information about your property, income, employment, assets, liabilities and credit history, and any other information you choose to share.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and assess your mortgage options;
- To submit applications to lenders and insurers, only with your consent;
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations;
- To contact you about your mortgage, including renewal reminders, unless you ask us not to.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing. Information is shared with lenders, insurers and service providers (such as notaries and appraisers) only as needed to provide the services you request, and only with your authorization.
Calculators and cookies
Our calculators run entirely in your browser — the figures you enter are not transmitted or stored by us. Our contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which checks that submissions come from a person and not an automated program; it is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. With your consent, this site uses Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to measure how pages are used and which forms and phone links lead to enquiries. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time through the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.
Safeguards and retention
We use reasonable physical, administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal and contractual restrictions.
Contact
Questions or requests regarding your personal information can be sent to stan@stanimirrashev.ca or by mail to 4030 Boulevard Côte-Vertu Ouest, Suite 100, Saint-Laurent, QC H4R 1V4.
